Family History Documents Now Available

Hello all.

Since returning from the Cape this summer I’ve been able to put a couple of interesting family history documents up on the Palace website under the Family History page. The page is password protected. Please email me or Sue and we will send the password. Enjoy!

  1. Memoir of Henrietta French Doble (1864 -1954) – Written at the urging of her two daughters, Claris and Henrietta around 1948. (154 pages PDF)
  2. Grandma Doble Oral History (1989) Conducted by Phyllis Harmon, Creator of Living Histories. There are approx. 7 hours of audio files for your listening pleasure. Each file is an mp3 and is approx. 30MB in size. Right click on the link to download the file or just click it to stream over the web. Thanks to Aunt Jane and Sylvia for the tapes and permission.

On another note: I will soon add digital copies of the minutes of past cousin’s meetings going back to 1994 under the minutes page. Again the page is password protected. Thanks to Abby for her excellent record keeping.

We can do more of this. Marcy, you said you said you have some photos? Please send when you can.

Working to fix the calendar too.

Why does summer have to be ending?

All the best y’all.
Rick
